Summer is my favorite time of year. I love the time off work, the time for travel and family, and the heat. I also love all the things that summer means at home in Northern California. Summer means flowers! This hibiscus grows in a fountain in our yard and blooms for just 1 day.

All the fruit is one of my favorite things about living in Northern California! My friends are always bringing me their leftovers from their trees and gardens. Lucky me

I agree, the fruit is something I love, too. We grow some in our yard and share with my mom and a few other people.
