Owls in Brazil — Photo of the Week

I see owls like these every time I come to my sister-in-law’s house in Bragança Paulista, Brazil. They are small and so cute and quite unusual because they are always out during the day and live in holes in the ground. It’s not the most beautiful photo I’ve ever taken, but I wanted to share it because I love birds and seeing these owls in Brazil up close made my day. I actually went out for a walk hoping to see the toucans again before leaving for the beach but am glad I saw the owls instead.
