For Your Weekend

Fruit for Christmas in Brazil

Happy holidays from Brazil! It’s been a slow week for us here at my in-laws’ house. The house is packed with family, and we’ve been just enjoying each other’s company while tolerating the intense heat and humidity of summer in Brazil (with no A/C, by the way). On Christmas, Brazilians prepare an array of fruits to eat for dessert after their big holiday meal. You can see some of the leftovers in the photo above–passionfruit, papayas, mangos, peaches, grapes, figs, and lychees.

We’re off to experience a bit of big city life in São Paulo. Here are my favorite links from the week. Até mais!
