For Your Weekend

What are you up to this first weekend of 2017? We just got back from Maresias on the southeastern coast of Brazil. It was amazing — a full report is coming soon, but I’ve been posting highlights on Instagram if you’d like to see. After a five-hour drive today and very little time online this week, I’m keeping this week’s round-up a little shorter than usual. Wishing you all the best this weekend!

  • I didn’t even realize it’s the first weekend of 2017! Well, I guess it’s a good sign as I’ve spent it getting ready to go to the UK!

Love the best resolutions for the new year, which is sort of what I resolved do do too: not make resolutions, but do specific things instead. Better rate of success, I’m guessing! 🙂

Happy New Year, Jenna! Glad you had a great time in Brazil!

Looking forward to seeing your updates from your trip on Facebook and IG! Happy New Year to you, too!

I can’t wait to hear about your trip to Brazil–I really want to think about somewhere warm right now! We spent the weekend bundled up because it’s cold here in Charleston: we’re not used to temperatures below freezing, and my wardrobe and the heating system are not happy with the weather right now either. 🙂 I’m adding Before the Fall to my list of books to read this year. It sounds exactly like something I’d enjoy!

We’re home now and curled up by the fire. Hard to go from being hot all the time to this cold, stormy weather and threat of flooding! I really enjoyed Before the Fall. The beginning really pulled me in, but the whole book was fun and well-written, I thought.
