Happy weekend from steamy Sacramento, where it’s 107 right now! We’re enjoying the heat of summer with pool parties, ice-cold sour beers, swim lessons and relaxed evenings with games or movie nights. What do you do to embrace summer?
We’re also planning our first family camping trip. I’ve never been a camper but am hoping to learn to like it. We live in such a beautiful part of the country, and I know my kids will love having these experiences. But there are so many factors to consider when choosing a campground (location, noise, temperature, amenities…), and it’s taking us much longer than expected to find the right place to stay. If you have a favorite Northern-Central California campground, I’d love to know.
As always, my favorite links from the past week are below. Enjoy your weekend!
