Hello friends. I hope you’re well. It’s been kind of a hard week. I’ve been struggling in some aspects of my life, plus all the events going on (natural disasters, the environment, North Korea…) cause me anxiety, partly because I feel that there’s nothing I can do. It’s also been grossly hot here (111 today) and the air is filled with smoke from wildfires.
I’m turning to self-care and taking the long weekend to recover and recharge. We’re staying inside to do what we really need to do right now: catch up on work and house chores. I’m also excited to start cooking from this cookbook, my new favorite!
I’ve decided to focus mostly on optimism and lightness in my roundup of links this week. Wishing you all the best this weekend. xo
